1.  ENROLLMENT PRIORITY
Enrollment priority will be given first to Seniors, followed by Juniors, then:

  1. Students who have completed a pathway course which lead to an ROP capstone course
     

  2. Students who have expressed career interest on their application
     

  3. All other students, age 16 and up
     

  4. Adults

All ROP classes are filled based on an application screening by office administration.

3ENROLLMENT GUIDANCE
Career counseling and guidance is available to those who have career and/or job-related questions or special needs.

4STATEMENT OF NONDISCRIMINATION

  ATTENDANCE  
Please attend the first class meeting. ROP classes can only continue if student enrollment and attendance are maintained.  If you do not attend the first class meeting, your place in the class may be given to a student on the waiting list in order to maintain the required numbers and ensure continuation of the course.

 

6.  TEXTBOOK & MATERIALS 
Some classes do require a textbook/workbook purchase and have material fees.
 

7 REFUND
Full refund allowed with notice (1) one week prior to class starting; 80% refund during 1st week of attendance.  No refund after the 1st week of attendance.
 

8 GUESTS ON CAMPUS 
Please remember, as a CSROP student, you are a guest on a high school campus and you must conform to behavior, dress codes and all standards required by the school administration.  Interaction between CSROP adult students and high school students is limited to class activities only. 
 

9 WAITING LIST 
If you are on the waiting list, DO NOT go to class until you have been contacted by phone and registered through the CSROP office. 
 

10.  ARTICULATION CREDIT 
Students who take an articulated course and receive an “A” or “B” grade may obtain college credit for a like course at various community colleges. See your instructor for more information. 

11 DRESS CODE 
CSROP is an occupational training institution and as such all dress codes are determined by what is appropriate for a specific job or trade.  Noncompliance with course specific dress requirements will result in a loss of hours and ultimately suspension from the program.  Clothing must be in good repair and footwear must be worn at all times. 

A complete list of unacceptable attire can be found on the EDUHSD website at www.eduhsd.k12.ca.us and is also included in the student registration packet of some courses which have specific clothing requirements.  Gang-related apparel is prohibited.
 

12.  TOBACCO-FREE DISTRICT 
Tobacco use (smoked or smokeless) is Prohibited at all times on all areas of school district property—including in any vehicle parked on school district property.


13.  BEHAVIOR 
The following behavior or activity, in accordance with Education Code Section 49079, may result in termination from the class:

  1. Causing, attempting, or threatening physical injury to another person

  2. Possessing, selling, or otherwise furnishing a firearm, knife, or other dangerous object

  3. Possessing, using, or selling illegal drugs, alcohol, or drug paraphernalia

  4. Committing or attempting robbery or extortion

  5. Damaging school or private property

  6. Stealing or attempting to steal school or private property

  7. Committing an obscene act or engaging in habitual profanity or vulgarity

  8. Disrupting school activities or otherwise willfully defying the valid authority or supervisors, teachers, administrators, school officials or other school personnel engaged in the performance of their duties

  9. Knowingly receiving stolen school or private property.
