The entire scope of careers in law enforcement is discussed, covering every level from federal to state to local. Students learn how to apply for and pass law enforcement entry examinations.

In addition, students are taught the proper way to complete job application forms and are exposed to a "mock oral," which simulates the stress of an actual job interview. The student has an opportunity to get to know professionals in the field through the many field trips made available. Students enrolling in the program must provide shorts, T-shirts, and tennis shoes. College credit for this course may be available through El Dorado Center of Los Rios Community College.
