What are the office hours for Human Resources?
The office of Human Resources is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  Unlike the schools, the District Offices are open year round and will be open when the schools are closed, with the exception of holidays.

How do I apply to work for the El Dorado Union High School District?
To be considered for an advertised position, all applicants must submit the appropriate application (Administrative, Certificated, or Classified).

1.         Applications are available electronically on the Human Resources page.

2.         Applications can be mailed to you if there is enough time before the filing deadline.

What are some additional tips when applying?
Screening committees review materials looking for different qualities and experiences.  Give yourself the best chance by addressing your experiences, accomplishments, and strengths as they relate to the position requirements and responsibilities.

How do I submit an application?

1.         Applications may be submitted Human Resources (Building E) during regular business hours.

2.         Applications may be mailed to 4675 Missouri Flat Road, Placerville, CA  95667, Attention: Lisa Alpers.

3.         Applications may be emailed to Lisa Alpers, providing all pertinent signatures are present.

Can I submit an application after the filing deadline?
No, all applications must be received in the Human Resources office prior to the closing date and time.  Postmarks are not accepted.

What action is taken if my application materials are complete?
If by the closing date you have submitted all the required documents, your application materials will be sent to the screening committee for review.  The screening committee will select the applicants who will be contacted to test and/or interview.  The screening committee may take 2 to 4 weeks to review applications. 

If you are selected to move forward, you will be contacted by telephone.  If you are not selected to be tested and/or interviewed, you will receive written notification from Human Resources.

How and when will I know the outcome of the interview?
If you are selected for the position, you will receive a telephone call from Human Resources.  If you are not selected for the position, you will receive written notification from Human Resources.
