Chris Plewa moved to El Dorado in 2013 from Los Angeles where he worked in several outdoor education programs and volunteered as a court appointed special advocate in the foster care system. Prior to joining the Special Education Department at Ponderosa High School, Chris worked in the District as an Instructional Specialist at El Dorado High School while pursuing his teaching credential at CSU Sacramento with the support and encouragement from the staff there. Chris grew up in Scotland and has a law degree from the University of Aberdeen. He is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children and is looking forward to serving the community at Ponderosa High School. Chris will assist the Golf program this year and is excited to help the student body establish a new photography club. In his spare time, he likes to explore the wilderness with his wife, Jen, and their dog, Luther Perkins.
