2012-13 BUS ROUTES

  
 

Students who attend Independence High School and Community Day are transported on the same buses as students attending the comprehensive high schools. There are some unique transfer requirements for these students.  Please see below according to the attendance area in which the student resides.

  
    Students Living in the EL DORADO HIGH SCHOOL Attendance Area  
       
 

AM

 IHS Students within the "no bussing" zone (2 mile radius of school) are transported by parents or walk to EDHS.  These student must show bus pass to school bus driver who will depart @ 8:10 am.  Students riding a bus to EDHS stay on their respective buses all the way to IHS.

 

  
 

PM

 Students are transported back to EDHS by RT 8 leaving IHS @ 3:00 pm.  Students are released to transfer to their respective buses or walk home.

    Students Living in the PONDEROSA HIGH SCHOOL Attendance Area  
       
  AM Students ride their regular buses to PHS and transfer to RT 7.  Walkers and students brought to PHS by parents ride RT 7 leaving @ 7:10 am. (ARRIVE @ IHS by 7:30am)

 

  
  PM Students ride to PHS on RT 7 an arrive at times listed below. Students are released to transfer to their respective buses or walk home.

MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY: leaves Independence HS @ 2:25pm

WED & THURS: leaves Independence HS @ 1:50pm

    Students Living in the OAK RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL Attendance Area  
       
  AM

Students ride their regular buses to ORHS and continue onto IHS.  Walkers and students brought to ORHS by parents ride RT 2 leaving @ 8:05 am on Mondays, (Tuesday-Friday ride RT 2  leaving @ 7:05 am).

 

  
  PM

Students are transported back to ORHS by RT 2 from IHS leaving @ 1:15pm Mondays  /  2:15 pm Tue thru Fri).  Students are released to transfer to their respective buses or walk home.
 

  
     Students Living in the UNION MINE HIGH SCHOOL Attendance Area  
       
  AM

Students ride their regular buses to UMHS and continue onto IHS.  Walkers and students brought to school by parents ride RT 15 leaving @ 7:40 am.

Students are transported back to UMHS by RT 14 leaving IHS @ 2:40 pm Students are released to transfer to their respective buses or walk home.
