The El Dorado Union High School District charges a fee for students to ride the bus. Click on the following links for a printable bus transportation application, or just type it on-line, then save it, and print it: Bus transportation applications can also be obtained at the District Office or at the Administration Office of your student's school. You will need to complete the application and include the appropriate payment or income verification documents and return it to the District Office either by U.S. mail or in person to:
EDUHSD Bus Fees Office hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. First semester payments are due by August 11, 2008. Second semester payments are due by January 5, 2009. PAY ON-LINE We now offer on-line payment of bus fees, without processing fees! To pay bus fees on-line with a debit card, credit card, or electronic check, click on the PaySchools Logo above. If you pay on-line, you will not need to complete the bus transportation application. Please note that credit cards or debit cards are no longer physically accepted at the District Office. 2008-09 BUS FEES Students are required to show the bus driver their bus pass morning and afternoon. Bus pass stickers need to be attached to the student's school identification card. EARLY PAYMENT (DISCOUNTED) $210.00 Round Trip for a Full Year The full fee of $210.00 is due in full in the District Office on or before August 8, 2008. An early discount is given only on full round-trip bus passes when purchased by 4:30 pm, August 8, 2008. Mail-in payments must be post-marked by August 8, 2008. REGULAR PASS $220.00 Round Trip for a Full Year The fee is $220.00 for a round trip pass if the fee is paid after August 8, 2008. The fee can be paid in two installments of $110.00 each. The first installment of $110.00 is due by August 11, 2008. The second installment of $110.00 is due by January 5, 2009. ONE WAY PASS (AM or PM) $160.00 One Way for a Full Year ($80.00 per Semester One Way) A one way pass (AM or PM) is available for $160.00 for a full year. At the time of purchase you need to indicate if the pass is an AM or PM pass. The first installment of $80.00 is due by August 11, 2008. The second installment of $80.00 is due by January 5, 2009. REDUCED FEE PASS $110.00 Round Trip/Year - $80.00 One Way/Year. For families eligible under Federal Income regulations, there is a reduced fee pass available for round trip or one way. Families must complete the application for free or reduced transportation included in the bus fee packet or by clicking on the 2008-09 Free or Reduced Bus Fee Application link above. Supporting documentation of income must be provided. The first installment of $55.00/round trip or $40.00/one-way is due by August 11, 2008. The second installment of $55.00/round trip or $40.00/one-way is due by January 5, 2009. The student must be eligible under the Federal income regulations (see application for free and reduced transportation eligibility criteria). Supporting documents showing income must be submitted at time of application. The application must be submitted by August 11, 2008. The following is a list of documents that will be considered as proof of income for free or reduced transportation.
OCCASIONAL RIDER TICKETS $20.00 per sheet of ten (10) tickets or $2.00 per single ticket Sheet of 10 Tickets are available at the District Office at 4675 Missouri Flat Rd, Placerville and on-line thorugh PaySchools (click on PaySchools logo above). Tickets are available at the school sites starting August 11, 2008. Each ticket is a one-way only ticket. A single ticket is required for each ride morning and afternoon. Tickets are valid only for the school year in which they are purchased, are non-refundable, and are subject to seat availability. There is a $5.00 fee for replacement of lost or destroyed bus stickers. Replacement fees may be paid at the Administration Office at your student's school or at the District Office. Refunds are considered only for (1) overpayment of fees, (2) a change in the students schedule, or (3) a student leaves the District due to Board Action (Administrative Regulation 3250). Refunds will only be considered for current semesters and will not be considered for past semesters. MULTIPLE STUDENT DISCOUNT SCHEDULE A multiple student discount of 5% per high school student will be given to families that are paying for round-trip full-year bus fees for two students attending El Dorado Union High School District schools and/or any of its feeder schools in El Dorado County. A multiple student discount of 10% per high school student will be given to families that are paying for round-trip full-year bus fees for three or more students attending El Dorado Union High School District schools and/or any of its feeder schools in El Dorado County. Verification of full-year payment must be on file before the discount will be given. The Deadline for this discount is October 10, 2008.
