2011-12 BUS FEES
Students are required
to show the bus driver their bus pass morning and afternoon. Bus pass stickers need
to be attached to the student's school identification card.
ROUND TRIP PASS $220.00/Year
Round Trip
The fee is $220.00 for a round trip pass if the fee is
paid after July 29, 2011. The fee can be paid in two installments of $110.00
each. The first installment of $110.00 is due by
August 5, 2011. The
second installment of $110.00 is due by
January 9, 2012.

EARLY-BIRD DISCOUNT $210.00/Year
Round Trip
The full fee of $210.00 is
due in full in the District Office on
or before July 29, 2011.
An early discount is given only on full round-trip bus
passes when purchased by 4:30 pm, July 29, 2011. Mail-in payments
must be post-marked by July 29, 2011.

ONE WAY
PASS (AM or PM)
$160.00/Year
One Way
A one way pass (AM or PM) is available for $160.00
for a full year. At the time of purchase you need to indicate if
the pass is an AM or PM pass. The first installment of $80.00 is due by August
5, 2011.
The second installment of $80.00 is due by January
9, 2012.

FREE OR
REDUCED
FEE PASS $55.00/Semester
Round Trip -
$40.00 One Way/Semester
For families eligible under Federal Income regulations,
there is a reduced fee pass available for round trip or one way. Families must
complete
the application for free or reduced transportation included in the bus
fee packet or by clicking on the 2011-12 Bus Fee Application
link above. Supporting documentation of income must be provided.
The first installment of $55.00/round
trip
or $40.00/one-way is due
by August 5, 2011. The second
installment of $55.00/round
trip
or $40.00/one-way is due by January 9, 2012.

FREE PASS
The student must be eligible under the Federal
income regulations (see application for free or reduced transportation eligibility
criteria). Supporting documents showing income must be
submitted at time of application.
The application must be submitted by August
5,
2011.
The following is a list
of documents that will be considered as proof of income for free or reduced
transportation.

Earnings/Wages/Salary:
Current paycheck stub or letter from employer stating gross wages
paid and how often paid

Social
Security/Pension/Retirement: Social security benefit letter or pension
reward letter

Unemployment
Compensation/Disability or Workers Compensation: Copy of award letter or
check stub

Welfare Payments:
Benefit letter from Welfare Department stating current eligibility and
amount of award

Child Support/Alimony:
Court decree or agreement

All Other Income:
If
you have any other type of income, provide documents showing amount of
income and how often it is received

Self Employment Income: Copies of
bank statements for last 12 months and the last year's federal tax return

No Income: If you have
no income, provide a brief note explaining how you provide food, clothing,
and housing and when you expect an income. Include last year's
federal tax return

OCCASIONAL
RIDER TICKETS $20.00
per sheet of ten (10) tickets or $2.00 per single ticket
Sheet of 10 Tickets are available at the District Office
at 4675 Missouri Flat Rd, Placerville and on-line through PaySchools (click
on PaySchools logo above). Tickets are available at the school sites
starting August 5, 2011.
Each ticket is a one-way only ticket. A single ticket is required for each ride
morning and afternoon.
Tickets are valid only for the school year in
which they are purchased, are non-refundable, and are subject to seat
availability.

REPLACEMENT
FEE
There is a $5.00 fee for replacement of lost or
destroyed bus stickers. Replacement fees may
be paid at the Administration Office at your student's school or at the
District Office.

REFUNDS
Refunds are considered only for
(1) overpayment of
fees, (2) a change in the students schedule,
or (3) a student leaves the District due to Board
Action (Administrative Regulation 3250).
Refunds will only be considered for current semesters and will not be
considered for past semesters. To request a refund, put your
request in writing and send the request with any necessary documentation to:

MULTIPLE STUDENT
DISCOUNT
SCHEDULE
The following
discounts are offered to families purchasing more than one bus pass for
EDUHSD schools and/or any of its feeder schools in El Dorado County.
Multiple Students Discounts apply only to full year round trip purchases.
Not available on-line.
Verification of full-year payment must be on file before the
discount will be given.
