Work Permits will be issued by the Counseling Office at your respective school site.  When school is not in session,  work permits can be obtained from the Student Services Office, Bldg D, at 4675 Missouri Flat Road, Placerville.  Please contact Student Services at (530) 622-5081, ext. 7224, for their availability during the summer.

RECOGNITION
Congratulations Jim Hall, Director of Career Preparation for receiving the State ACSA award for Administrator of the Year!
 
Independence High School has received a 6-Year WASC Accredition through 2015.
 
Shenandoah High School has achieved the California Charter Schools Association Certified Charter School recognition.
 
All four comprehensive high schools -- El Dorado, Oak Ridge, Ponderosa, and Union Mine --  each achieved recognition as a California Distinguished School.
 
Oak Ridge and Ponderosa High Schools have been recognized by the California Business for Education Excellence Foundation for their outstanding success in raising student academic achievement.

Oak Ridge has also been named a 2008-09 national Blue Ribbon School.
