Dear Students, Staff, and Families of the El Dorado Union High School District,

 

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new Superintendent! It is an honor to join this exceptional district with its rich history and tradition of academic excellence.

 

I come to El Dorado Union High School District with 29 years of experience in public education, having served proudly in the Rocklin Unified School District and the William S. Hart Union High School District. Throughout my career, I've held a variety of roles, including teacher, site administrator, school principal, district office leader, and most recently, Superintendent. I believe these diverse experiences will allow me to contribute meaningfully to the already exceptional team here at El Dorado.

 

Since my selection, I've begun immersing myself in the El Dorado County community. My family and I have recently moved to the area, and I'm eager to become a familiar face. You'll see me "hitting the ground listening" at all our schools: El Dorado High School, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School, Pacific Crest Academy, and Independence Continuation High School. My priority is understanding your needs and supporting the incredible work already happening here.

I'm impressed by the district's commitment to providing a rigorous 4-year curriculum that emphasizes career paths for all students. This ensures every graduate is prepared for success, whether they choose college, trade school, or immediate employment.
