Emergency & Inclement Weather Notice

El Dorado Union High School District Transportation staff are out evaluating roads as early as 2:00 a.m. on days of poor weather so that a decision can be made by 4:00 a.m. if we will be changing any of the school bell times for the morning. Unfortunately, when it doesn’t start snowing until 5:00 a.m., it is too late to change the bell times.

Our school bus drivers strive to maintain their route times, but on inclement weather days, the safety of our students is our first priority. Please be aware that a school bus may be delayed if the driver needs to chain the school bus or is impacted by traffic congestion or other unexpected delays. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
NOTE: The communities of Camino, Pollock Pines, Grizzly Flats, and Mt. Aukum are most prone to being affected by inclement weather.
